Initially, when Mr. Lapidus became part of
the Internet marketing business, he had to teach himself about
Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
In the early days of search engine optimization, it was much
easier than it is today. You could almost fake your way into the
search engines.
After studying and creating unique ways to
place higher in the search engines, Mr. Lapidus contacted Robin
Nobles, who with John Alexander, created
Search Engine Workshops, and enrolled in their unique course
to increase his skills. Mr. Lapidus is a graduate of the Advance
Workshop on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine
Marketing (SEM).
Using the techniques he learned, Mr.
Lapidus has taken
DefendingTheNet.com from an idea in November of 2004, to a
popular website about computer security. Defending The Net now
receives thousands of unique visits a day.
In addition to his on-page optimization
strategy, his off-page marketing efforts have resulted in tens
of thousands of newsletter and article reads on a daily basis.
Mr. Lapidus lives in Plantation, FL.
Plantation is a beautiful city with palm trees and canals and is
approximately 15 minutes North of Fort Lauderdale and just over
35 minutes North West of Miami. He travels frequently to the
North East (Philadelphia, Washington, D.C, New Jersey, and New
York) as well as the west coast, on projects.
He also serves clients in Miami and Ft.
Lauderdale. |
