Over the next two decades the drive to know
“how things work”, as well as how to make them do what they were
never intended to do, has pushed him to become educated in
virtually any equipment or software he could get his hands on.
The hobbyist has since taken advantage of his experience,
however unorthodox, to become a recognized network and security
consultant that has served as an advisor and implementer for
municipal, state and corporate entities in the Delaware Valley
and nationwide for the better part of the past decade.
A believer in the mantra “the best tool for
the job is the one that works”, Erich generally avoids pitching
a tent in any of the camps that house followers of particular
hardware, software or operating systems. In his continuing
effort to maintain a broad scope of understanding, he has built
contempt for virtually all hardware and software manufacturers
equally and refuses to bash only one or two in particular.
Erich currently specializes in providing
network and security solutions for small to medium businesses
that frequently have to resolve the conflict of need versus
budget.
His commitment to precision and excellence
is eclipsed only by his fascination with gadgets, particularly
ones that are shiny, or that blink, or that beep.
Born and raised in and around New York
City, Erich currently resides in Newark, Delaware, with his wife
and infant daughter. |
